COVID-Safe Business

COVID-Safe badgeWestern Sydney Recovery College is a registered COVID-Safe business.

This means that we are returning to face-to-face programs while committing to protecting our community and preventing the spread of COVID-19.

What COVID-Safety means for you

Please take note of the current requirements put in place to ensure the safety of all staff, educators and students attending recovery college workshops.

Please do not attend the workshop if you develop cold or flu-like symptoms, if you have been in contact with a known COVID-19 case and have been advised to isolate or if you have had a COVID-19 test and are required to isolate. If you have symptoms or have been identified as a close contact of a COVID-19 case, please get tested.

When you attend the workshop, check in to the venue using the QR Code / Service NSW app. If you do not have a smart phone or internet access, a staff member will assist you to check in.

Please note some venues are requiring attendees to be vaccinated/medically exempt. For these venues we will request you advise us of your vaccination status on the phone prior to the workshop and be prepared to show your vaccination certificate/medical exemption at the venue on the day of the workshop.

Please take note of current rules regarding wearing face masks.

For some venues, you may need to bring your own water bottle and reusable coffee cup (if you have one). Cups, coffee, tea, morning tea and lunch will still be provided. Please check your confirmation email for information relating to your workshop.

  • We/our venues will provide:
    • Hand sanitiser
    • Disinfectant wipes
    • Disposable face masks
    • Disposable gloves

If you have any questions or concerns about COVID-Safety at any of the workshops and venues, please contact us for further information.
