Western Sydney Recovery College is a registered COVID-Safe business.
This means that we are returning to face-to-face programs while committing to protecting our community and preventing the spread of COVID-19.
What COVID-Safety means for you
As we move back to offering some face-to-face workshops in Term 1 2021, please take note of the current requirements put in place to ensure the safety of all staff, educators and students attending the college.
The day before the workshop, we will phone you to ask COVID-screening questions.
Please do not attend the workshop if you develop cold or flu-like symptoms, if you have been in contact with a known COVID-19 case and have been advised to isolate or if you have attended any of the current venues listed by NSW Health and need to be tested. If you have symptoms or have been identified as a close contact of a COVID-19 case, please get tested.
When you attend the workshop, your temperature will be checked at the door and you will be asked to check in using the QR Code / Service NSW app. If you do not have a smart phone or internet access, a staff member will assist you to check in.
It is no longer mandatory to wear a mask in the classroom (as of 1 February 2021), however, if you wish to wear a mask please do so. (Information about masks on NSW Health website.)
For some venues, you may need to bring your own water bottle and reusable coffee cup (if you have one). Cups, coffee, tea and biscuits and lunch will still be provided. Please check your confirmation email for information relating to your workshop.
- We will provide:
• Hand sanitiser
• Disinfectant wipes
• Disposable face masks
• Disposable gloves
• Separately packed lunches and morning tea packs
If you have any questions or concerns about COVID-Safety at any of the workshops and venues, please contact us for further information.
This information is up to date as of 2 February 2021.
