COVID-Safe Business

COVID-Safe badgeWestern Sydney Recovery College is a registered COVID-Safe business.

This means that we are returning to face-to-face programs while committing to protecting our community and preventing the spread of COVID-19.

What COVID-Safety means for you

Please take note of the current requirements put in place to ensure the safety of all staff, educators and students attending recovery college workshops.

Please do not attend the workshop if you develop cold or flu-like symptoms, if you have been in contact with a known COVID-19 case and have been advised to isolate or if you have had a COVID-19 test and are required to isolate. If you have symptoms or have been identified as a close contact of a COVID-19 case, please get tested.

When you attend the workshop, check in to the venue using the QR Code / Service NSW app or sign-in form provided.

Note WSRC may need to ask Covid screening questions prior to your attendance (see image below).

Masks provide an extra layer of protection against Covid-19 and the flu. One Door and WSRC continue to strongly encourage the use of masks in indoor settings. Please take note of current rules regarding wearing face masks and guidance on wearing masks. NSW Health recommend using a face mask when physical distancing is not possible or where indoor ventilation is poor.

For some venues, you may need to bring your own water bottle and reusable coffee cup (if you have one). Cups, coffee, tea, morning tea and lunch will still be provided. Please check your confirmation email for information relating to your workshop.

  • We/our venues will provide where possible:
    • Hand sanitiser
    • Disinfectant wipes
    • Disposable face masks

If you have any questions or concerns about COVID-Safety at any of the workshops and venues, please contact us for further information.

This information is up to date as of 5 December 2022.
