News | Posted on 2nd Jul 2019
ACON is establishing an Rainbow Mental Health Lived Experience Network. This network will be trained and then invited to help design and give feedback on mental health services delivered by ACON and other organisations.
If you or someone you know identifies as a member of sexual and gender diverse communities over the age of 18 who has experienced or is experiencing a mental health issue, we encourage you to express your interest in becoming a network member. This is a paid opportunity, all members will have their expenses covered and will be paid for the time that they contribute. A two day training course for network members is scheduled for the 24th and the 25th of August. ACON is collecting expressions of interest until the 7th of July. This initiative is supported by the NSW Mental Health Commission.
