One Door Mental Health – Peer Educator Training

One Door is looking for people to take part in our upcoming peer educator training.
One Door’s training facilitator will work with participants to be able to use their lived experienced of mental illness to educate others and develop their skills and confidence to share their stories.
When: Tuesday 1st, Tuesday 8th and Wednesday 16th October 2019
Where: One Door Mental Health, Gladesville, NSW
Catering & training materials provided
Participants must be living with mental illness or caring for someone with mental illness, they must be available to attend all three workshop dates above, and they must be willing to speak at external mental health workshops booked by One Door Mental Health with agencies such as NSW Ambulance, NSW Police and the University of Sydney.
