MHCC – Scholarships available for Peer Workers in Western Sydney area

The Mental Health Coordinating Council in partnership with the Parramatta Benevolent Society is excited to announce a scholarship opportunity for a fully funded place in the Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work starting in November 2019 in Sydney.
The Parramatta Benevolent Society Scholarship is an opportunity for a person with lived experience as a consumer, or carer of a person with a mental health condition, interested in peer work. The person must be from the Western Sydney area and who otherwise would not have the opportunity or means to complete this qualification. “Alleviating poverty through education”.
This scholarship will include a fully funded place in the qualification and a work placement of 120 hours with Parramatta Mission.
