Having a Yarn for WSRC’s Birthday

Thank you to everyone who was able to attend our end of term event Рand our first birthday Рon 4 July in Blacktown!

We were honoured to be joined by Uncle Greg Simms, local Aboriginal elder, for a Welcome to Country and a yarn ahead of NAIDOC Week 2018. Uncle Greg spoke about the importance of home, heritage and history, not just for Indigenous Australians but for all Australians.
