WSRC Joins Allies at IDAHOBIT Day 2018

Western Sydney Recovery College are pleased to announce we will be participating in the 2018 International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Intersexism and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT) on 17 May.

Last year the debate around Marriage Equality brought to light the disproportionate mental health concerns experienced by LGBTIQ people. WSRC have therefore committed to provide support to the LGBTIQ community in Western Sydney and provide a safe space for LGBTIQ people at our workshops and programs.

At the IDAHOBIT 2018 event, Ending Homophobia in Parramatta, stalls and information from Twenty 10, ACON, Western Sydney Community Legal Centre, and WSRC will be at Centenary Square. Parramatta Council will raise the rainbow flag at Town Hall.

We invite the community to join in with the message of inclusion and “go rainbow”!
