Term 3 Focus on What is Mental Health?

Understanding more about the drivers and recovery journey of those of us who experience mental illness can help us support others and ourselves.

In my own recovery journey, having a deep understanding of my triggers, and protective skills and knowledge, has gone a long way on building my resilience and shortening the unwell periods.

In Term 3, Western Sydney Recovery College is focusing on different mental health concerns. The schedule includes popular new workshops like Understanding Trauma and Understanding Eating Disorders, and mainstay topics that also work to break stigma like Understanding Bipolar, Personality Disorders, and Schizophrenia. What is Recovery? will also run for the first time in Arabic by WSRC’s two bilingual recovery college educators.

I encourage you to take a deep dive into greater knowledge and understanding of mental ill-health by signing up for one of these great courses.
